how long do you plan to stay in Denver?
sightseeing ta ramro chha but u have to drive up to the mountains.
Estes park / Rocky mountain national park is a nice place.
you can drive up to grand junction. raft on Colorado river. or drive by the shore, even fish there.. it's nice.
There are lot of places to camp. Two hours from denver You can reach Mt. Evans. and take CO-highway 5. The higest paved roadway in north america. (14000 ft)

go to George town to the higest suspension bridge of the world.
take a historic railroad to Durango
But It won't be so cheap to do all this.

The Association of Nepalese in Midwest America and the Nepalese Association of Southeast America with the help of the Nebraska Nepalese Society is hosting the ANMA-NASeA Joint Convention during Labor Day weekend. This will feature forums, workshops, reunions, sports events, concert (NIMA RUMBA!!!) and cultural program. You will meet TONS of Nepalese in this!!!

Doubletree Hotel, the hotel where the convention is going to happen, is smack-dab in the heart of downtown Omaha with the restaurant district like 3 blocks away.

Check out http://2008.jointconvention.org for more information.

Himalaya jee--the Convention would be the place to be for Nepalis...so I was like: why not? lol.

Anyway:, stuff to do around Omaha:
** 2nd largest zoo in the United States. If you go to Henry Doorly Zoo, you won't regret your visit
** Old Market
If you get here during a Saturday, it's like a haat-bajar with lots and lots of farmers-market stores
**Thursdays there is Jazz on the Green at Joselyn Art Museum
Saturday from 10 AM to 12:00 PM it's free entry at Joselyn Art Museum where you can see portraits from Picasso to Monet
** Village Pointe is an outdoor mall and it will show you the class Omaha brings in the world (Omaha has more millionares per capita than ANY other city in America.
** If you are looking at lots of fun with the family, try the Amazing Pizza Machine in Millard--it is an indoor amusement park and for $25 you can get a buffet and unlimited rides.
** Ever heard of Lewis and Clark? Council Bluffs--right next to Omaha--is where Lewis and Clark negotiated with the Natives to cross the Missouri. Without this historical council, they could have never made it across!
** Harrah's casinos is world-famous for it's great games
** Heartland of America Park has America's second largest fountain and a wonderful park to stroll
** Durham Western Heritage Museum
** Hindu Temple
It looks like something you would find in Asia. Intricately made. A definite MUST-SEE when you come to Omaha---132nd Arbor Road (1 block North of W. Center Rd)
** Joselyn Castle and Central High School
Ever want to see a building that looks like Rana-shashan ko buildings? Those are the places to be.

Omaha is freaking amazing.
