Can't see Real Madrid losing the grip. Barca should and MUST have been in a similar position last week but they couldn't hold on to their lead. What a dramatic matchday 37 did it turn out to be!

I guess Barca's best days are over. The team has some internal problems between the stars.. it seems.

This is finally the year for “Galacticosâ€. Copello is undeniably a dickhead, but nobody is going to stop him from earning a trophy this year for Madrid that they had been desperately waiting for a quite sometime. With a number of Superstars, including Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Zidan, Figo and Ronaldo leaving or have already left the club, Real Madrid’s fans may have to wait forever for their next La Liga crown. So this leaves with do or die situation for this weekend clash.

Wud have loved to see Sevilla winning the title which is out of question at least 4 this year`s la liga!! I dont c Madrid losing this chance to snatch the last grasp and that way it wud b the fitting farewell to the man whose contribution to the Madrid team was always under-rated. I have always felt that David Beckam has been the most consistent player for them for all the years he`s been playing there along with the Goalie Casillas!!

I agree with you Polly regarding beckham. He isnt the kind of player I like, but I think he has been very good and consistent at Madrid this season.

The commitment, dedication and character that Beckam has shown this season are second to none in the soccer world. After being publicly criticized by his Real’s coach that Beckam would not be making any more appearance for the club, the ex-England captain not only forced Copello, one of the most stubborn coaches, to take his decision back but also emerged as a better than ever player. During the whole ridicule drama, Beckam kept his mouth shut and continued to work hard to make the line-up. He may not be the best soccer player out there, but he can be as dangerous as anybody when it comes to a set-piece action. He is a true ideal who stays away from controversies and leaves positive impression to youngsters who look at him.

I am not a Real Madrid fan but all you guys who think Real Madrid will not win a thing once the so called galactico's leave are either stupid or been following football for the last 2 3 years (since Barca's been winning.) This will be their 30th championship if they win. The match will not be a stroll, Mallorca have one of the best records in the Bernabau and have defeated Madrid many times, I recall once when Eto used to play for them they hit 4 against Madrid. As for Madrid not wining anything once the so called galacticos leave is a overstatement. Real Madrid has the best pulling power in the whole world. They may not get Ronaldo, or Kaka but they have the money, the fans to win them numerous trophies in years to come.
