til ko achar banauna kasailai aaucha bhane plz help garu na. btw, til ko achar tyo momo ma halera khane chahi. ani lapsi lai english ma ke bhanchha ra kata pauna sakiyela texas tira tyo pani bhandinu hola. plus hing pani katai paiyena ke garne hola. lau na help chahiyo.

simple dude:

Boil potatos and cut em up, roast black sesame -brown in low heat, grind the sesame seeds. Heat oil and jhano redpeppers. Mix in all ingredients..add chopped onions, cumin/coriander salt and pepper to taste. Squeeze a lime before serving...

Also call me when you're done making so i'll make sure it tastes right...hhahaha

P.S. if anybody knows how to make bandel ko acchar lemme know....

Lapsi: The Hog Plum, Choerospondias axillaris (from Google). I have never foung Lapsi in any stores in US yet. Chinese and Vietnamese markets are the place you could find, if any.

Hing : Asafetida. You can find Hing in any organic stores, or Indian stores.

bandel ko achaar re? i have not been able to find bandel in the US. there was this meat place back in california that sold deer and pheasant (kalij), but no bandel. and pork is not an acceptable substitute. after all, bandel is bandel. lemme know if you guys are in the know, otherwise i will have to wait until i head back to nepal.

But now let me show my expertise.

Bandel ko achar?

Boil Bandel ko meat and cut em up, roast black sesame -brown in low heat, grind the sesame seeds. Heat oil and jhano redpeppers. Mix in all ingredients..add chopped onions, cumin/coriander salt and pepper to taste. Squeeze a lime before serving...

Add some ginger, garlic and masala. Simple.

Also call me when you're done making so i'll make sure it tastes right...hhahaha

hahha..so we are alll achhar experts.....

my granny was such an expert she used to spend days drying and cooking stuff....especially miss her kutke khursani ko ahhar...damn...the ingredients was so vast..all spices..concentrated lemon or chuk and loadsa greeen peppers.,,like stir it for almost six hours on low heat...and stir it and stir it and stir it and taste it and add some and stir it and stir and stir it and add some and stir it and some and stir it....and then and then and then and then and then and then.......

I give UP ;-)

momo ko achar bhandai cha question ma kahan alu ra til ko achar ko receipe bataidya cha pheri, tesle momo ma alu halera banaune bho aba .......hahahahahahaha

myannnn...... wat was that.. jhan aja rati banauna paryo momo bhaneko ta aalu ra til re kohi badel ra til ra ke ho yo? sab lai politics aaucha ...... G ko gyan chha... i was talking abt the til ko achar that's served with momo in some restaurants. til ko jhol ho ki ledo jasto kyaaaa.

Momo sanga khane til ko achar banaune euta tarika:
4-5 wata tamatar ekdam thorai paani rakhera boil garne 5 min jati. Tyaslai nikalera sano tukra banaune. Kaalo til lai ekchin bhutne ra nikalne. Pyaj lai pani sano tukra banaune. Pyaj, buteko til, hariyo khursani, lasun, aduwa, alikati dhaniya sab milayera blend garne. Tyo tukra pareko tamatar pani tyahi halera blend garne. Ani tyaslai nikalera noon ra besar halne. Achar test gariherne. Aafulai ali badhi amilo chahiyema matra 1 tablespoon jati lemon juice halne. Momo ko laagi achar tayar bhayo.

Banayera malai pani khana bolaunu hai.
