There is a tussle going on within the party about the name change and its future directions. The hardliners like Mohan Vaidya and most of the CC members seem to like "jana ganantra" where as liberals like Prachanda and Baburam want liberal form of federal government. What will they come up in their national convention, is yet to be seen. The hardliners like Mohan Vaidya et al (and the ones who are not in power) seem to be diaappointed with the ones with power. Is this just a power play? Are these hardliners power mongers and want to throw Prachanda and Baburam so they can be in power? Are the hardliners upset as they do not have government resources in their disposal? Are they upset just because they have no means to get a "one crore car" or cannot afford Rs 200,000 bed or have not been able to travel aboard is yet to be seen?? Crying for the Mao version where everything is centrally controlled (owned) including private industries/properties and banks seems ridiculous. Parties are allowed to participate in elections but all the major decisions is done by one party (sounds like same old Panchayat with minor change) seems like a looser idea but they are going for it. Their prominent leaders like CP Gajurel and Matrika Yadav (the same sicko who captured land and confronted his own government when he was a minister!) are among the supporters of this idea. Who else will rally with them on such failed idea? Is yet to be seen. Hopefully some Nepali entrepreneurs will be able to provide these hardliners with more than Rs 200,000 bed and some corrupt business owners will provide them 'one crore car' to shut the hell up! If they don't then will they will be digging their own grave and will take liberals like Prachanda and Baburam along with them?? Is yet to be seen This tussle is interesting and I am watching!!! :-)

mujiharu kam chhaina khali gaf hakdai hinchan did nepali people vote them to get involved in this unnecessary mesh of changing names, war of words. This is not at all necessary at the moment. We need development, no matter what their party name tail is or whatsoever sabai nepali haru milera tiniharu ko chak ma khursani dalnu parne ani afno nam ra sat pusta ko naam birshanchhan, IF THEY HAD MAJORITY SEATS, THEY WOULD START UNNECESSARY DEBATE ABOUT CHANGING THE COUNTRY NAMES TO PRACHANDADESH OR WHATEVER jangalis have totally proved that they are not at all matured enough to run the country, its over now the earlier you stop this, the better it would be

Of course
Maiost is really kicked off after next election. They are quarrel against power sharing and chair sharing in between PM-Puspa Kamal Dahal, his portfolio and Mohan Vaidya. Nobody has voted to act such bullish shilly matter i.e. Name change or People's Republic. Now, they want to continue the government in the different method in past Gririja Koirala his portfolio for next 10-15 years. Then, they will completely forget their party policy and names too, once they become completely reached and well settled in Kathmandu. Because they came from Jungle and still trying to run the nation from Jungle party policy methond-its' proven from their means of mobilising- YCL, kidnapping and killed the people into the PLA-camp, holding the general public properties seized.

There is no doubt that CPN-M doesn't carry their old hard line policy any more, though it has been always seen that minority in every political party always hold different view. But for now it seems these soft liners are dominating and their policy is offical policy of the party. So there is nothing wrong with changing the party name to make it reflect the actualy party policy. CPN-UML should have done this long time ago. There is no meaning of holding this name for it.
