Namaste Mitra haru, So, the new season kicked off with Redskins victory over the Colts in the opener.. of course the pre-season at the Hall of Fame game. Anyways friends, I am sure you are all ready for some football. I think we should play the pick-off once again. CNN has a very cool site for that called the Peter King Challenge - much easier and better GUI than my program of last year. I have created a group called "Nepal". You can join the group here: http://www.fannation.com/groups/join_group/45146?context=peter_kingSuper Bowl: Broncos over the Steelers 34-24 Good Luck and Enjoy.

Dear Sujanks,
How come both teams from AFC will play in Super Bowl. I'ld say Cowboyz over Patriots, 34-21.

Dude Sujanks, Broncos and Steelers are both AFC team. Super bowl is played between AFC and NFC Champs so your super bowl prediction can't happen. I think it will be Chargers (AFC) Vs Eagles (NFC).
How about college football? I think Buckeyes will finally with the national Champions and West Virginia will surprise again this year. Pat White for Heisman.

My prediction:
NFC championship: Vikings 31- Cowboys 24
AFC championship: Pats 17 - Colts 14
Superbowl: Pats 24- Vikings 14
Vikings will be a much better team than last year. Don't forget Jared Allen (15 1/2 sacks). Adrian Peterson: offensive rookie of the year. The only doubt I have with that team is the QB. His record wasn't bad either (8-4).

I agree with Norton about Vikings. With the addition of Jared Allen the defense will be one of the best. For offence, AP is there, and may be Bernard Berrian can bring some passing game. But the QB still sucks. Brett Favre would be the perfect fit and he wants to go to Minn. but Green Bay will never allow this to happen because they know that QB is the only one position their division rival Minn is lacking. Yet still, I think Minn. will get the NFC North. With NFC East, it will be a battle between Dallas and Redskins. Anyway, here is my prediction for the playoff picture. AFC 1. New England 2. Indianapolis 3. San Diego 4. Cleveland/Pittsburgh 5. Jacksonville 6. Tennessee NFC. 1. Dallas/Washington 2. Minnesota 3. Seattle 4. Tampa Bay/New Orleans 5. Washington/Dallas 6. Tampa Bay/New Orleans NFC Championship: Vikings 20 - Cowboys 17 AFC Championship: Patriots 24 - Colts 30 Superbowl: Colts 27 - Vikings 17

Sujanks bro, With the NFL 2008-2009 season fast approaching I was expecting a thread from you once again and (bingo!!!) here it is.
I will obviously be joining your group in (http://www.fannation.com/groups/join_group/45146?context=peter_king) and hopefully this season will emerge as the Numero Uno. I think your SuperBowl prediction (2 AFC teams) was a typo in which you actually meant Cowboys over the Steelers 34-24.
Just like C5, I also have my set of predictions...
AFC 1. New England Patriots (Not a 16-0 season this time, but still good enough) 2. Indianapolis Colts (Always in the mix and the hunt) 3. Pittsburgh Steelers (As long as Roethelsberger is still efficient) 4. San Diego Chargers (Improving ....) 5. Jacksonville Jaguars (Would not be surprised even if they topped Colts in the Division) 6. Cleveland Browns (Terrific offense will be good enough to land them a playoff spot this time)
NFC. 1. Dallas Cowboys(They will live up ro the hype) 2. Minnesota Vikings (With Favre out, they top the division) 3. Seattle SeaHawks (Oh well, they have an easy division) 4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Just gets my nod over the Saints) 5. New York Giants (WildCard team to watch out for again) 6. Washington RedSkins (NFC East again - Our Division Ruxx)
NFC Championship: Cowboys 30 - 20 Vikings AFC Championship: Patriots 27 - 16 Colts Superbowl: Cowboys 33 - 30 Patriots (OT)
Go Cowboys!

..i dont understand why everybody is thinking dallas is gonna win the superbowl...first tony romo gotta get a playoff win...which he hasnt done yet...forget bout the superbowl...first get a playoff win then talk bout superbowl....and patriots losing to dallas like sahayog said...is just out of the context...we kicked their ass pretty good last year in texas....well it will be a good match if dallas and pats meet at superbowl...cant deny that..but the score is gonna be little bit different than dallas 33 to pats 30..its gonna be the other way around...coz we got unfinished business from last year...GO PATS.....

Gentlemen.... Yes I got you guys with Broncos over Steelers eh!... No, the Broncos aren't going to make it to the Bowl game and neither is Steelers, but you never know in the NFL. I like the Patriots and San Diego in the AFC and Vikes, Boys and the Saints in the NFC. Anyways, The fannation web-site changed its things - I think. You will have to join the group again. The last one was for last year - as their site wasn't updated. You can still use the same email and password you used earlier t join the fannation. Here is the correct link. Good Luck to all. If you guys are interested, I still have the Bob Marley T-Shirt from the last season, which no one claimed - for the winner of this season. The link to join the picks. http://www.fannation.com/peter_king_challengeSearch for the group "Nepal" and join. Peace and Enjoy.

I dont think one person can win all the time, it could be once or twice but there is no chance to go and win the SUPERBOWL... so I dont think there is any chance for Vikings with Adrian or Chargers with LT or anybody else. We need a real Team who can go all the way down which includes Pats, Colts, Cowboys, and I would say Eagles. So whoever comes from each will go to the SuperBowl and the real winner will win the CHAMPIONSHIP... I would say no other team than cowboys that has the most offensive weapon, 13 pros last year and impressive defense... GO COWBOYS... "That is almost illegal to have so many talents in one team(COWBOYS) of NFL ".. ESPN
