One thing i don't get it, sure in a democratic country anyone can organize protest if they don't agree to an agenda. But shouldn't you also have the right to defy these protests which in the case of Nepal in the form of bandhas if you do not agree and support the cause and that party's call for the bandhas?

I don't understand how it these forceful bandhas aren't a clear human rights violation??

These people are no more than monkeys. Monkeys never build their own house and never let others to build house.

Pls be remind that the decision to increase the price of petrolium products was cancelled by govenments by the same way of street protest. So I don't think there is any problem, we have this culture already and govenment also don't listen anythings without this type of protest.

प्यारो राहुलभाइ, बन्दको दोष माओबादिलाई मात्र दिनु त्यति ठिक देखिदैन। बास्तबमा नेपालमा बन्दको संस्कृति सुरु र पालन पोषन गर्ने तथाकथित प्रजातन्त्रबादि राजनितिक पार्टिहरुनै हुन्। आफ्ना राजनितिक स्वार्थका लागि जस्ले बन्दको घोसणा गरेपनि त्यस्तो प्रबृति निन्दनिय छ।

It does not matter who started or doing it now. These are not good for the country and economy. There should be better way of peaceful protest whether by Maobadi or parties!

These Bandhs have to be banned completely. Both Maobadi or democractic parties should agree on to have constituational ban of the violent and disturbance to daily life of the people!!
