Hello, My name is Bela. I am originally from India and live in the bay area. I am hoping to do some volunteer work in Nepal this summer and am interested in learning Nepalese. I was wondering if anyone might have any ideas for how I might go about doing that. I live in Marin county, about 15-20 minutes away from the city of San Francisco. Thanks you for your help. Happy Holidays!!

If you know Hindi, you may be able to get by pretty easily... except if you're going end up in a remote foothill... But here's a resource that might help: http://www.janakedu.com/nepali/3.htm Good luck.
