Hi mom, it?s almost midnight here. I just got back from my work and had a shower. How is everything going down there? I hope you liked those t-shirts I send over.
You know mom, the other day it was little raining here and I tried to cook those (?Gundruk?) dried vegetables you send over through Amrith Dai. Mom I did mixed and put all those ingredients that you use to. But no matter how hard I try, it doesn?t taste like the one you use to make. May be it?s the magic of your hand or just the love and care of you that makes it best. But mom living away from you has made learn few. Last Dashin when I was there I would have cooked you some mutton curry but it was my bad that you have turned into vegetarian. You know mom now I don?t cook that bad either these days. Hehehehe believe me.
Sometimes when I get home sick what I do is close my eyes and think of you. Ya mom it makes me feel your presence right around me. You know mom, you have taught me to be strong in every aspects of life...
Remember mom, once when I was a kid and when I was accused of stealing my friend?s geometry box, everyone made me feel like a criminal, even my best teacher Santa miss she thought it was me. Though I hadn?t steal it but it was found in my school bag and all the evidence were against me. You were called in school. When I looked in you with my tears in my eyes and said ?Mom I didn?t steal that?. You said yes I trust you, mom not only my eyes were wet but somewhere inside me, my heart was crying too. Mom, Thanks for being the only light when the entire world seemed dark to me. I had no words to express but inner in my heart I felt even principal would punish me I would say thank you sir for punishing me for what I haven?t done and ya sir my mom thinks I am innocent and now even a whole world would accuse me I had nothing to prove to anyone anymore.
Living in hostel was miserable most of the times. Nevertheless, mom, when occasionally when you use to bring all those cooked food, me and my friends we use to eat a lot food that day. Hehehehe. I wonder sometimes if those school days were back. At least you would come to visit me once a month. We use to count every single day when every Dashin holidays or summer holidays were nearer. Each day 5 din bakii, 4 din bakiii.., 3 din bakii??as dates were nearer for vacation we use to get more excited and ya mom just to be with you and all those delicious foods you would prepare.
Being a little naughty boy, once when I broke that thermos, you had slapped me. Ya mom it did hurt, but again after a while you would spring your love over. And for that love mom I would take thousands slaps.
Mom, if I was ever asked to go back to my past, I would like to go back to those S.L.C. exams days of mine. You were lying there in the hospital and I was preparing for my finals. Sorry mom I could not come to visit you often and that hurt me the most. Though I had to prepare for my exams, but I should have stayed by you.
Mom, when you had sent me to Delhi after my S.L.C. for further studies, I did spend lot money. Sorry mom, though I did my admission there but by some reason I didn?t went to study there. I know mom I do realize now when you use to say, Money is not everything, but know the value of it, all the hard earnings of your dad. When you and dad were in foreign land, I did spent a lot. As you use to say mom, everyone does mistake, but one has to learn from one?s mistake. Here in foreign land being away from you, working and studying is tough. Ya but blessing of yours and all those inspirations from you has made me a strong man and here I am mom almost achieving my goals. Mom life is all about all those small, small happiness and memories we share. Love you mom. You are the sweetest thing happened in my life.

That's what I had to do. I was trying to call home and wish her a happy mother's day. Instead a call came from KTM, saying that she passed away peacefully in my father's arms the day before.

Reading ur article ,my memory flash back my past hostel's days.Seriously,when we are at hostel ,though we have frens all around still we feel kinda isolated, and all alone.I used to be home-sick so often.Mostly, when theres is some sort of occasions or gatherings were organised at home and i wasn't permitted to go home for attaining them.JUEzzzzz!!!!! i used to feel terrible to stay at hostel then & hostel's food????...eWWWWWWWWW...that sucks.However , it was loads of fun staying at hostel.

About that money thing...hmmm....Well, why is it too easy to spend money but toooooooo difficult to earn it???ehehe how nice it would be if we can just spend, spend and spend hai????Damn! to that person who opened pandroa-box and left we pplz to face all these troubles and problems...Anyway,life is the next name of struggling and exprencing ,i suppose.So everyone one of us has to travel this journey once and so we are doing...trying to be parctical kyaaaa*wink*wink**
