dont worry goosfraba I was in the same situation. Just go to your airlines with plenty of extra time and tell them you have lost your I-94. they will issue a duplicate I-94 and make sure you save all your departing boarding passes for future visit to US. Just in case to prove that you had left the country on time and had not overstayed. No need to worry. Lot of people loose their I-94. good luck!! Click here to subscribe to goosfraba's postings. It don't see a reason why not. It wouldn't hurt, makes your scenario even comfortable or if you have time go to the Immigration office at the airport and explain the situation.(esp if your relative is not proficient in English). They will most probably tell you that if u ve not overstayed you are fine. Most of the International Airports have an INS office.
