Cheapoair.com is cheap because the route is via DELHI.. Sometimes its a too-much hassle going through Delhi. Dhotis will ask for your Indian VISA, you'll have to look for ur luggage in Delhi and find a hotel to stay overnight in Delhi. Dhoti bhais (Rickshawala's) will try to rob you if you're alone. Dhurmus, Try via HongKong (Cathay Pacific and Dragon Air) which will be around "1150--1300"..pretty much same as going via DELHI and "Cathay Pacific" is a 5 star airlines, very good service. Transit is not very long either. That way you avoid long-tiring route of going via DELHI and also long overnight layover in Delhi..One more thing, It would have been cheaper for "Khalisis" because one of the flight is operated by "Nepal Airlines". I shouldn't write any bad stuff about my own "Nepal Airlines" but i am forced to. With "Nepal Airlines" you never know when you'll fly. It is delayed 70 % of the time, Sometimes you may even miss your connecting flight and wait another day.!!! Another suggestion is try "Etihad Airlines" which would cost you around $1400. The service is really great. I am sure you'll enjoy the trip with Etihad. You'll not regret for "200 dollars" more that you will pay going from "Etihad Airlines". Good Luck.

Sometime we make thing worst than it is. If you have been to India , you can handle any hassle in New Delhi airport. Just need to know couple things or avoid couple things. Now a days more young people are around the Delhi airport and they are more professional than the old folks. They are with new attitude, focused on customer which lead in your favor. If you want an adventure do not hesitate to fly via Delhi. Don't be timid because Mr X and Mr Y said so. Once you fly via India you will be advocating to travel via India but you must travel first. Suggestion:- Do not travel during the school or colleges are going to be closed. Do not await until 2nd week of June , the price difference will be couple hundred dollars on each passenger. Know how many and how much weight you can carry with you?. End of May may be good time to travel not June. Same route and same date, you may find price different from one with other travel agency, so do not rely on one agency, shop around as much as you can. You are the one paying. Newly opened , they may have some intensive to offer, check this TA. IDLnepaltravels.com

I agree with Syanjali. I have travelled via Delhi twice and didn't have any issue. One thing I hear most of the time about Delhi airport is that you have to check luggage at Delhi which is totally a myth. You only need to check luggage @ Del if you decide to go outside the airport. I had better experience at Delhi airport compared to Doha or Baharin. Now I'm not sure where Rachetta got ticket for 1150-1300 on Cathy Pacific but if you can get that price that's a real good deal.

Santos; STA travel is good for students and teachers only. If you are a student, that is the best deal you can get from STATRAVEL. Otherwise pay 1550 to Golf Air and only 40 KG is allowed.

I do agree with the fact that you should shop around a little. But generally speaking Nepali travel agencies do offer a better rate than most online websites. Check out IDL Nepal Travels.com. for some good rates as mentioned by @syanjali above.
