I have been working in H1B status for the last few months. Currently I am in Nepal and need to get the visa stamped to return to the US. The thing is, my employer has already filed a green card for me and I was just wondering if it will in any way affect their decision to grant me the H1B visa.

Has anyone had a similar situation? I will appreciate your feed back.

Thanks

you will be okay  since h1b1 allows 'dual intent' that is that you have an intent to 'immigrate' to us with green card filing. so rest assured dude.

You are in H1B visa. So do you need to go back to the embassy in Nepal to get your visa stamped to come back to USA? I thought with H1B visa you dont need to go back to the embassy. Let us know what happens with your case.

Thanks.
