I am in dependent visa of H1B here in America.
I am a Writer and Director of Nepali Movies. I see many artist here who are settled here. I believe they apply for special skilled eb1 green card. Do you guys have any ideas, suggestions how to get started on this and the documents that I probably need to start collecting.
What do you guys think about hiring a lawyer? Is it a waste of money?
How does the lawyers can help in this? Can we file ourself without the lawyer's help.

Thanks,
your suggestions are appreciated.

I recommend you to contact Chen Immigration at wegreened.com. We have very good experience with them. They will give you a free assessment of your credentials and if they like they may give you guarantee of approval. They respond in time and have an online system which is very convenient. We got our NIW approved in four months !
Good luck !

Yes, you can communicate with them online as we did from west coast. Their contact email is law@wegreened.com. They do first free evaluations and let you know how you stand. They are an expert based on our experience.
