Do anyone have any updated idea by when one should leave the country in what time duration after receiving approved for visiting visa at nepal. It heard the the person has to fly within 6 month even after the visa gets approved for 5 years.

Does any one have any idea, my relatives had received visiting visa for 5 years, but just curious to know by when they have to leave there and if they do not leave withing 6 month, what is the process to come again?

It depends on country.
Is it for Afganistan or Iraq?

Duderino, I assume you're talking about visitor visa (B1/B2)? B1/B2 visa holders can visit the US as long as the Visa is valid, & it is 5 years in this case as you've mentioned. But just to be on the safe side make sure that the Visa validity (on the Visa stamp) is indeed what you've mentioned.

The person has to be at Port Of Entry on or before visa expiration date. That's about it

My-man and Duderino bro,

What Supersix and Newtrader have mentioned is correct. Just to give you an example which might give you some relief or confidence: Some of my relatives came to US (SF port of Entry) in 2009 after obtaining visa for more than 3 years and there was not any issue. The Immigration officer just asked them why they didn't come earlier so ask your relatives to prepare to answer that question.

My sister and brother-in-law will be coming later this year and by that time, it will be more than 4 years they have hold the visitor visa for, they were not able to come due to their work, business and family matters and that's what they are going to say, if asked by immigration officer. I am confident that there won't any issue.

Good luck to your relatives.

As long as the visa is valid, they can come anytime. There is no such rule as 6 months after getting visa have to come to the US.
