Reasons:
Maoists wanted to talk to the KING only..Under normal conditions, King does not have executive power (enjoyed byelected prime-minister )...therefore, it makes sense that to start dialogue with maoists, KING has no option, but to take the power by himself..This is the truth and international community understand it.. That's why there has not been strong objection from international community regarding this royal take over..
Now if we want to see a stable nepal, then we should urge all political parties not to involve in politics for some period (practicing self-abstinence from politics) and see how the communication between the KING and maoists progress...I am sure this will pave new avenues for nepal..let us just wait for awhile more..but in the mean time, sucker political party figures, stop your dirty games and donot excite innocent people against themselves!! rather go to KASHI / tirthdhaam for a while...

Those who are not under house arrest do not have access to money.. therefore they will not organize any protest. Apart from that even if they have money still they may not be able to get the protesters walking on the streets as they are afraid to be hit by bullets. Asti samma ta Deuba or Surya Bahadur govt thiyo. at least they would not release bullets so easily.. but NOT NOW.

Among others, What caught my eye with excitement/amusement is,

"Next move of King G should be to make paras the negotiator for peace with the Maobadis. So both parties can shoot each other if the talks failed."

Hahahahah that was funny Lovaboy, LMAO.

Now I rem. R.k. Mainali and C.P. Mainali, hmmm from padequeen's info. hmmmmmmmm, had forgotten. among other things, i heard they were very notorious.

Anyways, very interesting discussion.

IndisGUise:)

Check out this news from Voice of America. They think Dan Bdr Shahi is new Prime Minister... this shows that americans are not serious about the current event happening in Nepal.

Could John F Kennedy become president had it not been for his extremely rich dad?
Could George Bush become president had it not been for his dad?
The list goes on and on....one can debate this...dusk till dawn.
I guess we live in a world of inequities and injustices. People will always struggle for power and money. Dissent and disagreement, especially in times of trouble, is frightening. But it is the necessary price of finding real solutions to real problems.

Many believe that Ramesh Nath Pandey to be the illegitimate child of Gen. Padma Bdr Khatri with a Pandey woman.

Yesto ta hoina hola.. Nepal hallai-halla ko desh ho.

Padequeenji,

I agree with your statement. Its very hard to beocme someone in nepal without some form of chakadi. Maybe things will change now.

IFji,
Ramesh Nath's wife Kanti is the grand-daughter of Hemraj Pandit aka Mahila Gurju (who put the crown on young Gyanendra's head) from his daughter's side. Kanti's uncle Keshari raj was Gurju for a couple of years. Keshari raj worked for a couple of decades in Paris for UN. Its disappointing that even though he stayed abroad so long. he could not resist the offer of the reactionay Gurju post.

I don't know anything about who nischal married.

I don't know about Ramesh Nath Pandey's disputed parentage issue. Anyway, FATHER IS A PROBABILITY, MOTHER IS A CERTAINTY Hoina ra.
