I am looking to buy a laptop. I do not need anything fancy. I just use it for some basic stuff and for some work. Since sajha has some really computer savvy people, I hope I would get some decent suggestions about laptops.

Criteria:
Cheap, basic... would appreciate if you could explain some features about it. Its kinda urgent. Please help me.

interesting talk... you guys are hilarious..hey indisguise, in case you haven't already decided upon the laptop, I would suggest you to get a "Gateway" one.. i got it a year ago or so, it's incredible.. might be a lil expensive though, but hey good things are usually expensive.
