Okay, this Gazal by none other than Jagjit bappe is another gem. If heeded properly, it provides the last ditch life jacket when one has to jump off the boat, but does not want to get drowned. Not that I buy this philosophy, but sunne/sunane mein kya harz hein?

How many times have we heard this from 'that' person "you will find someone better" or (for some- used it on others). Its when you say "hello - what if i dont wanna find someone better?" Its something you want to believe, yes, there will be a better person, a better relationship- and yet - its the same thing you dread. Does one wanna fall for someone again to go through all this?
