Anuradha is known for her cunning and diplomatic skills of snacthing money from many donor agencies without distributing enough for the needed ones. Her Maiti Nepal till date has recused handful of womens being trafficed in India. Instead of investing in prevention measures, education in the Village, she is busy attending 5 star hotel parties displaying photographs of women that she had rescued some 5 years back.

She is perfect example of how an NGO makes money.

 

No way .. never for this bitch...She is one of person whom you can say fox hiding inside sheep body.

She is not only not helping to prevent but some of her branches are selling the girls back and also she is sending girls to places where they gets treated as sex slave. Her son is one good example (drug addict).

Is there any truth on whatever these guys are saying or this is just a jealousy? If her son is becoming drug addict, I don't think this has any relation with what she is working on, if she is attending 5 star parties then it shouldn't be that big issue, but if her branches are selling girls back then this is going to be big upset for her supporters. Is there anyone who have more details on this issue? Until then I am not going to stop voting her just because someone is bitching her.

Sounds like a jealousy (a typical Nepali style). If she was so as mentioned by these gentlemen, there should have been big hungama published on the Newspapers.

Attending seminars/parties at big hotels is not an issue.

Rather than splashing mud, lets do a honest evaluation. If she is like so, prove it with evident so that we can believe it.

So far I agree with Geology_Tiger. Her son's addiction ain't got nothing to do with her work; and attending parties with national and international diplomats is for establishing connection and getting help from them. Please put some of her issues with proofs so we can discuss her, otherwise i will keep on voting her.

I too have heard not so great things about her, on my part its not jealousy because I was very excited when I first saw her on CNN, then I called my friend in Nepal, he told me she used to be a teacher and Nowadays making a lot of money because of Maiti Nepal.

So her crime is making money? Is this stemming from the fact that she is attending parties at big hotels?
Unless you tell me otherwise, I side with the populi and vote for her. Dilmaya Shrestha (the lady who helped elderlies) also belonged there.

My comment has nothing to do with what she is doing now. It only concerns my experience. My experience with her is that she is a con artist. She swindled a family friend of mine claiming that she had connections with the koiralas. And I am pretty darn sure my friend's family is not the only ones.

No jealousy whatsoever! Have no need to be jealous or envious of her.

To me she is just another con artist and many a times these are the people who gets the limelight.

I am just saddened that there might be some genuinely compassionate people working for the best interest of humanity who never get the recognition.

Ok wit's end then she swindled your family friend but let's think from another angle. Did she approach your friend asking for money or your friend approach her? Why your friend approached her? What was the reason for offering money? Was it for any social cause or just to get personal benefits? I don't know when we will have that eyes to see our own mistakes rather than always blaming others. If Anuradha Koirala has indeed done that thing with your friend then I will say your friend is more guilty than her. My friend we need to stop this trend. For our personal benefits we don't hesitate to do whatever illegal, immoral and later on when the result doesn't come as our expectation, we simply blame others. We need to stop this!

This is what bugs me about Nepali people. If anyone does good they start B)itching just on  HEAR SAY. Nepali haru ko baani yestai ho. You havent come close to what this lady has achieved. DO you know that she started this MaitiNepal from One Room with like 15 kids?? she picked homeless kids and fed them when she her self had no money. I remember when she used to struggle so much to maintain and help these kids and women due to lack of funds food and man power.. I know that because I used to live around where Maiti nepal started. SHe worked very hard for Maitinepal and where it is now. I remember her son who is a lot younger than Me and used to hang around with all the wrong crowd BUT later he changed and started to run a anti drugs campaign telling kids to stay away from drugs using his own experiences. What this young man has done compared to his past is remarkable. YET people just comment on Hear say. You guys dont have to vote for her BUT haters will never even come close to what she has achieved and how many lives she has helped.

you know what bugs me its the fact that we want to vote her because she is nepali, there might be other people more deserving but we don't care. What bugs me is the ppl justifying their act when they are bias and crying of racism and bias when someone else does the same. If you want to vote, vote the most deserving person, personally I am not proud Prashant Tamang won indian idol because he didn't deserve it. I don't want Anuradha koirala to be next Prashant Tamang and yes it is wrong to make money for yourself when it wasn't meant for her.

Well how do you expect to an  organization such as Maiti Nepal?? with no money? How do you expect her to hire people and run MaitiNepal and get all the Funds If she doesnt meet with Rich Doners and spread the word? How is she going to provide food, shelter, school, medical etc for the less unfortunate?? SHe will get votes for not only being Nepali BUT because the world knows that there is someone in Nepal who cares. Just dont palce your judgement on hear say bro.

where has all the money Gone?? here it is providing this kind of shelter for all the UNWANTED, you think its cheap? Guys this great lady started from ONE ROOM to this.

We need input from those who have had first hand experience working with her. Even I have heard not so flattering stories about her but till there are people here who can lay down facts to support such claim, it's all rumours.

Can't agree with "onlyassignments" more. It's wrong to vote for her just because she is Nepali, unless you think she is truly deserving of the title regardless of the nationality.

Back biting and pulling each other is easy guys! building an empire takes a lot. Some of you think Babu Ram is a hero, some you think Prachanda or some you think Prachanda, some you think the great Gagan is a hero..who have done nothing to the society? but when it comes to acknowledging  who is doing even a bit of social service you are displaying your sick mentality. I know some of you also know Mother Teresa personally. I am not sure anuradha will become hero or not, I am 100% sure you guys will be zero..take that from me!
