some of the threads are really lowly, the trend is on the rise for few weeks now more than ever. I dont exactly resent anyone's absence though i'd like to see people discussing more productive than Namrata Shrestha or Panties and Bras.

yeah. I concur with raju161.  it's time sajha change its game plan. implement new ideas. first need to change the UI, Its like a dinosaur compare to others.

One solution is if you don't want to see the threads you are calling "trash", why don't you contribute "better" threads so they don't stay on the front page for long. What I am tired of is people riding on their high horses and assuming that whatever they don't like is not good. Why these "nasty" threads have more views than your "sensible" threads is the question you need to think about.

I know the one you are talking about and I appreciate it. But sajha displays more than one thread on the front page and I've been hanging out in sajha for over 5 years now and these complaints have always been there. Sometimes I do too. But to fix the problem, whining is not going to do anything. You have to put more.

@MM - I sent a long email to San about downvoting and upvoting way back, but he hasn't replied yet. It might be a lot of work.

@cowboy: upvote and downvote system would still not be the complete solution but it is a good start i think San should definitely consider it.

I agree. Downvoting and upvoting is the most democratic way I've seen till now. Hopefully one of these days, he will implement it. We are finally starting to see people using the "like" and "flag" and its been there for a few years now. So, I wouldn't get my hopes too high about downvoting and upvoting if I were you.

@Raju - It is not for one person to decide whether the contents are good or bad (except San in this case). Sometimes, what 5 people think is bad could be good for 50 other people. We cannot make that judgment and frankly, San shouldn't either.

Whatsoever,  a public platform which is erected on the common motive of bringing all the Nepalese together so that they could develop the initiative, a ideas, a belief to do something for the country or the countrymen spread throughout the world, houses some of the most disgusting lowlifes.
