I was in Charikot and some other villages two weeks ago.  How did you come up with your guess for Devi Khadka in No 1 and Tara Koirala in No 2? 

Based on my observation, what I have understood is - in constituency 1, high tri-competetion among UMS, Congress and Maoist.  Bhim Bahadur Tamang of Congress seem to have better chance because of maoist - UMl class. In Constituency no 2, Anand Pokhrel is way ahead on the campaign.  Let's try to share the facts.

I meant Ek nath, Maiya devi and Tek PD from 2, 3 and 4 respectively....and from 5 might still be amik sherchan or Bijaya Subedi...Unless Bikram pandey pays to capture the booths

Mine is Jhapa District.

Constituency No. 5, 6, 7 will be of CPN UML. There are Tara Soymyanga, K.P Oli, and Deepak Karki. These are such constituency where even dogs and goats will win if they are contesting from CPN UML. People just see SUN as it is stronghold of UML.


Now, No. 4, NC has slight lead over UML as NC candidate is a strong heavyweight politician-Chakra Prasad Bastola as compared to UML's Debendra Dahal. No. 3 will have the fierce competition between present Home Minister Krishna Sitaula and UML's Puspa Pokhrel. But, UML is slightly strong here.

Jhapa No. 2 has not much heard candidates from both parties-NC and UML. But, NC's candidate is slightly popular. so, NC has lead here.

No. 1 also as of now, not much decided. but seems that NC has slightly bigger lead than UML.

So, in Jhapa, it may be something like UML-4 and NC-3 in final result.

Rest of the parties and candidates get few thousand votes.

i dont think maiya devi can win against devi gyawali

Hi guys, found this thread interesting----------hot topic in these recent days

well i am from kaski------------ tangting VDC area (north east kaski)

it used to be area no 1 but now there are 4 constituency i think its still no 1.

The region was dominated by Taranath ranabhat but now because of his bhataaaaaaa bhataaaaaaaaa, and mandaly nature he is no more than a clown in the region and he doesnot have a ticket i guess. As i remember UML khagaraj also won once from that region and i think he is again participating this time also

But Dev gurung from maoist is also participating so its a tough competition between UML NC and maobadi

But ultimately UML will win this region.

another region i know is pokhara region - this region is also UML dominated region so UML will win this region

third region is where prakash gurung from NC is candidate and this region will go to NC

there is one more region which i am not clear about

If anybody else from that region enlighten
