I certainly would not call Hinduism inferior, but it is really laughable when Hindus go to lengths to sing praises of Hinduism. The 16th century protestant revolution lead by the likes of Luther and Calvin was extremely good for Europe. It brought with it the ideas of emancipation, individualism, self-consciousness, etc. It give Europeans a way to express themselves. The point here being that Hinduism needs its own version of Martin Luther, or else, India and Nepal will always remain the sewer it has always been. What's laughable is that some of these Hindus are still living in the past, and believe that the civilization has to this day been unsurpassed. Tons of people use this sorry argument.
