Matyangro, Royalists blamed lenin as DESDROHI, MAO as Threat to nation and bla bla bla. So stop your baseless charge against me. Every time you asked for i have answered with points, but you are the one who just puts the statement without any supporting claims. I still hope that after elimination of monarchy, nepal would be a democratic country (like america) but i wont mind if some communists come for some time to crush the oligarchs. Its evident, communists wont last long in nepal but they probably can do some thing in short time that a democratic government cant. Matyangro dude, bad bibad nai garne ho bhane yaar ali tuk bhayeko kura garana dude, ke tyo betarka ko raja , raja , bhanirakheko kukur harulai. Actually , i feel sorry that gyanendre lai kukur sanga dajera maile kukur haruko apaman gardai chhu.

USeless futile charges over King. Charge yourself--bad manners, abusers, hypocrites. I dont waste my energy giving points, putting pros and cons to save king and his gangs. You are sarbagyata. u know all abt politics. Right!!! ha

who had done what is not the problem? what leaders have done? just nothing but corruption, hankering for pM post only, money-puppet of Indian government. Tanakpur sandhi, Mahakali, Laud air kanda by Girija Babu, Almost all the politicians of big parties are corrupt--some big while other small. with such leaders in our hand who have just started to release their true colors by fighting over petty post, what kind of lead do you guys like filthy nepalichhoro expect from them? Look, one day these Pm will sell thecountry to nepal. there has been land encroachment from Indian side, are there any leaders who can stand on this issue against India. These leaders were the ones who were ready to join the king headed cabinet, Remember in the past--Sher bahadur sold democracy to palace during his rule of Pm that was offered by king himself, even Madhave Kumar nepal went to join the sherbahadur government then, After the only magh 19 step by the king, these leaders got crazy for not getting ground to politicking--for they were sure to be unemployed when king took over complete power. Got It. King has asked only three years, but these bheda leaders took no stone unturned to join hands with maoist to topple king. Now the game has Just started. Look--what will happen next days? next months? where will the country go? will nepal be rich, after dethroning the king, people will be happy for ever. More miseries will be left here. Nepal is sandwiched between two neighbours--India and china. India has its own interest. China no exception. So instead of abusing king, why not go ahead taking King along with political party, maoist. All three forces should unite for the soverign Nepal? But after such turmoil in politcs at present. Even after getting democracy back by the sacrifice of 19 plus thousands of inujred but leaders fighting for power. I am not so optimistic neither other nepalis. A REAL GAME IS JUST GOING TO START NOW. Remember. Lets see who will win in this cat and dog eating game?

"why not go ahead taking King along with political party, maoist. All three forces should unite for the soverign Nepal?" Good in theory. But not practical. One drop of poison is enough to spoil pitcher full of milk (democrats), water (maoists) or seawge (royalists, monarchists, etc.). King has been a poison through out Nepalese history. If Nepal is to survive, the king must perish.

mR shaiva or miss shaiva any clarification on "if Nepal is to survive, the king must perish". It is like leopard must die if rabbot has to survive theory--there can be tiger, lion, etc. etc. Right! One going--another coming and another coming one going. It is all abt sentimental attitude of one's thinking. Can you tell me with your heart that what will for sure happen in next 4 to 8 months in Nepal's politics? Can you? No you cant--if you can or do, then it will be hypothetical theory; assumptions, fundaments. matyangro

Matyangro, All your evidences look fine, just wanted to ask do u know the present ground realities of Nepal? Correct me if I am wrong but in world's eyes, Nepali people have shown that for their freedom, they can defy curfew and nto care about being shot. All your points seems dated now. Don't u think? Now is not the time (IMHO) to think what KG wud hav done in 3 years, he has failed clearly and squarely and LOST to nepali people despite having mighty armed force at his disposal. Maybe we should discuss the future course of action or direction Nepal can/should take

Biswa, and the rest of the political enthusiasts, You made a mistake by saying that in world's eyes, Nepali people have shown that for their freedom, they can defy curfew and don’t care about being shot. Look how this freedom has gained momentum. Without maoist backing, it wouldn’t be as successful as it is now. Otherwise, leaders would have already moved the palace in the past protest that was going on since 2-3 years back, esp after Aswin 19, declaration by king. Maoist had warned every home at far distant villages to participate in the mass movement, if not serious action would take place. So, it was like that. I am writing you in this sajha from nepal. I am in Nepal, and I was in nepal during those movements and have watched this movement mentally, visually. Most of the demonstrators in the protests were from outside kathmandu Valley. How did they come here? There are just 16 lakhs Kathmanduites–so how come 20 -30 lakhs people as per the saying of leaders. So it is anybody’s guess–Maoist’s 100% backing. The people fighting in jungle against army will be ready to bare the chest to feel the bullets of security personnel in the capital city, kathmandu, the place their No 1 foe, where King Gyan..resides. International organizations have thrown millions of dollars to topple king–international groups were against the King, activists of SPA was giving further impulse to the movements, one or two media like Kantipur publications, has also hand if not much to make the movement successful. No one can stop the King to rule Nepal, if he wish. He could have been very much autocratic such as using maximum force to control the protests–who can stop him? Army is behind him. But if he had done, poor nepalese would have suffered more and more, nonstop grief. Look at Myanmar–what is going on there? The head is getting very autocratic, anysyongki is being jailed, does not listen the US, EU. In Pakistan–army general toppled the government and took charge; is that justifiable, but USA takes it for granted for its own interest and that is Osama bin laden being hiding in pakistan provinces. So everything is taking place in this world for its own interest, advantages–a narrow minded political structure. We don’t think for others–we think for our own sake, for our own mental attitude–be it correct or incorrect. Same is going here in Nepal. I am not royalists–royalists would not have such mental attitude to write such things here. Actually speaking I like no one–King, maoists, leaders. No one is doing anything for the poor masses. But for the sake of sovereignty and long lasting peace, I see king, maoist, leaders should unite together and go ahead for national development. One most important thing is–-if maoist, parties go together and place isolated–palace people will surely hatch a ploy to destabilize the country for its own benefit like said before, we do, think, act for ours own sake (i.e nature of narrow minded, dogmatic people). So, I say let bygone be bygones–political leaders should respect king and so people. These demonstrators are not only the people of the nation. Other people are also there. Many people in Villages, town, cities revere king like before. In democracy, everyone’s decision, statement counts–doesn’t it? It is up to the people to decide the role of king–not you and me. Shouting and abusing king will do nothing. Look at US, UK, India, China, there are united in the case of national integrity–all have the same voice and their economy is going good in exception to USA. What Nepal lack this time is visionary leaders who can sacrifice for the benefit of the poor Nepali living in villages. We need economic revolution not a monotonous political revolution. Economic revolution can only change the nations destiny not by the fruitless revolution that has no aim. By saying this i am not against the recent revolution, but this revolution should team up with vision–a vision to wake up, a vision to seed something new for all the masses. A vision to get outside of ourselves and begin to examine ourselves. Enough is enough–nations cannot bear further destruction and if the nations plight is ignored, external interference will surely make Nepal loose its virgin sovereignty. Matyang…..

'Maoist had warned every home at far distant villages to participate in the mass movement, if not serious action would take place. So, it was like that' माओबादीको डरले जनताले कर्फ्यू तोडे भन्नु उल्लुको पट्ठोले गर्ने कुरा हो। 'Most of the demonstrators in the protests were from outside kathmandu Valley. How did they come here? There are just 16 lakhs Kathmanduites–so how come 20 -30 lakhs people as per the saying of leaders. So it is anybody’s guess–Maoist’s 100% backing' काठमाण्डू बाहिरका नेपाली सबै माओबादी? हामी बाहिरका हरुलाई हेप्छस् जाँठा? सच्चिते राणाले बोल्ने कुरा गरिस् नि यहाँ! 'No one can stop the King to rule Nepal, if he wish. He could have been very much autocratic such as using maximum force to control the protests–who can stop him? Army is behind him.'

सच्चिते राणाले बोल्ने कुरा गरिस् नि यहाँ!"---- I didn't mean that. Many intellectuals people in Nepal are from outside of kathmandu. Withou people from outside, we cant run the country. I saluate them. I didnt mean that--ni . You took it in another way. I love all people. Even some of my relatives are from outside. Humanity should exist. Dont take the name of the people like sachit, tulsi, here. They are the fuels to the palace savageries. 'Maoist had warned every home at far distant villages to participate in the mass movement, if not serious action would take place. So, it was like that'--i didnt mean it in that way--it was just their threat.. (Threat). you are from outside n can easily imagine the power of maoists there. Unemployment rising---that is also the main factor of so many youths coming to streets for seeing no future here in Nepal if such condition go on. "चाहेर मात्र हुन्छ देश चलाउन? अझै ७ दिन ढीला गरेको भए ज्ञाने सधैंको लागि नेपालबाट बिदा भएर जानु पर्थ्यो। अझ १ महिना मान्छे मारेर देश चलाउन खोजेको भए त्यसलाई जनताले बाटोमा घिसार्ने सम्भावना थियो।" This was again another hypothetical remarks. Are you 100 percent sure people will be able to do that? It was also international pressure, india, UsA, esp, that king bowed down to people's movement. Media played important role in this andolan--this time.

Matyangro dude, Thanks for sincerely defending your position. But once again dude, you are not justifying your statements. RAJA, DAL, ra Maobadi milnu parchha bhaneko kati barsa bho -- More than 10 years. Mile ta ?? milena ni hoina ra. ani milne pani kura aaudaina. There are events which makes monarchy last for long time ( like shah's in nepal cause of bravery of prithvi narayan and bahadur shah, courage shown by royals in britain during wars etc) and there are events that eliminates monarchy (like in russia, iran..). YOu can say that nepal's monarch was not autocratic, and in fact it is true if you compare with the global politics 40-50 years back but the modern day world is too too liberal to let the monarch's reverse the democratic trends of the country like gyanendre kukur of nepal. Doesn't matter if the intentions were right. About political parties, everybody knows that most are bunch of oppurtunists, and cowards. But the need of time is to make an institution of democracy strong enough to take these politicians into account. Developing a system takes time. Look at russia, transformation into democracy isn't going easy despit high literacy rate, abundent natural resources, technology. Matyangro dude, i do get impression that you are a patriotic nepali, but you just cant imagine nepal without king. By the way there have been events in the past where the monarchy once eliminated have been restored. hami pani yadi down the road if it is really deemed that monarchy is needed in nepal, feri firta lyaula ni (bharkhar bhayeko anti monarchy rally garera), kasooooo
