I am not sure what did you see in this video. Few people specially my female friends saying it's empowering women. I didn't see anything that's empowering or her talking woman equality and I am still not getting what she is trying to say. I am strong believer of equality not only between men and women but also between different caste and races. Can anyone here tell me what she is trying to say? At one point she even said..Have a sex outside of marriage, my choice. Lol.  What I understood from this video is we should not expect from our wives anything. Whether she comes at 4am or 6am in the morning we do not have right to ask them anything because it's their choice. Lol. Ok .  Please tell me what is her intention?. Sorry I am not judging her. I am just trying to educate myself and trying to understand what she is trying to say.

I think this is the prologue of end of the institution of marriage and sex as a mechanism of reproduction. I am envisaging 100 years from now sex will be no more mechanisms of reproduction for human.

Women will donate egg early on and will be kept frozen, men will donate sperm early on and it too will be kept frozen.

If he /she want their genetic code proliferated they go to hospital pay some money (may be insurance will cover it) and hospital (human production center) will use frozen sperm to fertilize frozen egg in artificial womb.

If men and women don't request human production center from their sperm and egg, government will decide,. based on population need Certain number of egg and sperm will be used to produce human rest will be destroyed when they reach their expiry date.

Institution of marriage will be abolished. Those who get married to make family will be considered "pakhe"
And will be fined heavily.

This way there will be no need of womb in women. Once it is not used for generatins our intelligent "genes" will notice it. Finally there will be a genetic evolution in women. Gene responsible for making womb in women will no longer be active and new evolved women will have no more womb.

Here is a thought, and I am asking seriously: why would the choice not apply to sex-workers and their clients? Why is a woman (or a man) who willingly wants to make money by providing sex services not allowed to do so legally? I am not talking about intimidation, human trafficking etc. If we have two consenting adults, and one of them wants to be paid for the act, and the other is willing to do so, why is that choice between the two illegal?

Cardinal, there are many "illegal" things that don't make sense logically. If paid sex is illegal, then why are pornographic movies allowed? The only difference between the two is presence of a camera.

Cardinal's comment caught my attention. I don't think any rational government, and for that matter any rational leader/lawmakers, in this world would make buying and selling sex illegal if they are free to make choice. The biggest thing is that there is huge lack of resources everywhere to restrict illegal activities that happen under the disguise or on the background of sex trade. You said 'no intimidation, no trafficking' etc, but there are other things like 'forceful drug addiction and then forceful sex trade- especially common in many developed countries, using under age people, inability to make right decision due to lack of education etc'- which are next to impossible to police. Ideally, I am a big supporter of making this thing legal, but given the circumstances now, I don't think anyone can make a strong point for it.

BTW, I was watching a 'sajha sawal clip' where adhibakta Sapana Malla was saying 'even the supreme court of Nepal don't consider this trade as illegal'. So, in Nepal's context, police and local administration have lots of discretion about it. And, usually they don't interfere unless a third party complain to police saying "these hotelwalas are creating social vice by allowing such and such activities". And, when they take the case to CDO, these cases are not strong at all.

Where all the values, relationship, commitment have gone in this video. I am telling in the support of both men and women. For example, Naga Babas and many Yogis in Nepal and India do not wear clothes and we cannot consider them as uncivilized. In America as well, there are naturalist who do not want to wear clothes. Eating with spoon, wearing clothes, driving car etc. are not the real means to show whether a society is civilized or not. The real test of a civilized nation is Love and Peace. Are we kind to people, are we kind to animals (this includes eating vegetarian food), are we kind to reptiles, are we kind to insects etc.
A non-vegetarian society is a barbarian society and cannot be considered civilized.
