This is a large town of approx. 50000 inhabitants and college population of about 15000 students. But there is no public transportation, though there are good roads everywhere. Little Rock, the capital city, is nearly 1 hour from conway. This is a nice place to live and study.

The University has an excellent honors college. Any international student accepted into the honors college will get a full tuition scholarship and a private room at the cost of a double room. In addition there are funds for research and abroad study, if accepted to the honors college. The honors program here is very reputed but requires some good academic or extra skills to get accepted.
Students can also apply for other foundation scholarships after they enroll, generally the next year, and also to scholarships provided by their department.
