Anybody still waiting for H1B receipt number? or, it is just me.

hasen't your money been refunded yet?

My check has been cashed a month ago and got reciept no. from back of the check but  haven't got anything in a mail from USCIS yet. So, I don't know whats going on.

HipRock, Okay this is really crazy for me, I was also waiting for my receipt that I had never got. April 28th, my lawyer told me the check had been cashed. I waited for receipt. Today, May 20th, finally I got my receipt, not from my lawyer but from my employer. The first mail was returned to the sender and USCIS re-mailed it to my employer instead of my lawyer. So, I don't know what happened, there was no mistake with my lawyers address. Along with the reciept, there was a paper with a request of change of address. I haven't got to talk to my lawyer yet, which I will do tomorrow, but may be something like me happened to you too.

BTW, it was premium/masters/California. The reciept date is April 22.

Hey SajhaCop, My reciept date is also April 22nd. But, I haven't got any notification either from lawyer or from employer. I found the reciept no. from the employer's cashed check my status says something like this:

Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER

But, I don't know what to do. Should I be worried or just assume that I am selected. But, haven't got any official letter from USCIS just to get peace of mind.

HipRock, Yes it was the same thing in my status online. I talked to my lawyer today and he told me they had wrong address for the lawyers office and he is going to call them to fix that up. That was the reason why the mail was returned to the sender and the USCIS re-mailed it to my employers office. They also sent me the "change of address" mail along with my reciept which was dated 14th of May.

So, at this point, according to what I have experienced, I'd suggest you check with your employer if they have received the receipt. I know how hellish it could be. I have just been there.

Does other people got same issue as mine? --check has been cashed but not received any notification from lawyer or USCIS. Please share....

my check was cashed a week ago, and my lawyer received the receipt the next day.

when i check my status online, it says the same thing as stated by HipRock.

Same case here. Check has been cashed almost a month ago but have not got any receipt yet. Since I graduated this May so I had not submitted my final transcript while applying. So it may be due to that or what? Is there any hope for me? I am really confused.
