Hello folks,

Anyone gone through the situation where I-485 case is transferred to National Benefits Center (NBC), Lee's Summit, MO. I checked the NBC website and other forums and found that they do not have specific processing timelines for any cases. According to my lawyer, cases usually gets transferred if there is heavy workload in one service center. However, I am concerned as some forums mention it involves background check and might take few months. I am not worried of background check, it is the timeline.

If anyone has gone through this process, could you shed some light on the processing time of NBC and/or anything that I need to be worried about.

Thanks
