I have been seeing boring topics in this message board, so I have decided to add some spice here. Let's talk something different, shall we?
I have some questions that I have been asking pretty much everybody that I have met in my life; three questions. Only three and believe it or not everybody's answer is different. Here are the questions:
1. What is love?
2. What is happiness?
3. Do you believe in God (Hindu God, Buddhist god, Christian god, Muslim god any kind of god)?? Why or why not?
The one thing that I want to do is to hear opinions on these three topics and later post it on my website. I will let you the URL (Uniform Resource Locater) as soon as I am done.
One request: please we all want to hear your opinion, not CUT AND PASTE stuff. So, please open up yourself and tell us what you think

1. Love is a fatal, insipid concept created by Hallmark.
2. Happiness is a concept created by those who trample on others--the rich who're always getting richer.
3. God--is both female and male (Thank you, Da Vinci Code).

You know, Oys...I'm begining to think that myself. It seems on the outset that men rule the world, but one eshara from a female can turn the leader of the free world into a bumbling fool in need of serious therapy on the virtues of fidelity. Glad to be a woman!

I am not sure if this is" THE" most intriguing topic, but just to keep the thread rolling, here are my thoughts on:
Love: Love is what a mother feels for her child. That is the "ONLY" form of love that is unconditional and is at its most virgin form....All else comes with its share of conditions.
Happiness is a relative term. What might make you happy today may not necessarily evoke the same level of satisfaction, say 10yrs down the road, if not sooner!!! Happiness to me is a state of mind, which is influenced by many factors that surrond an individual's life at "A" given point of time.
And what was the last one??? Ahhhhhhh.......GOD. Hmmmmm, the all powerful 3 letter word that has caused so much of controversy since times immortal. I don't know about other faiths and schools of thougt, but I am in full agreement with the christian definition of who "GOD" . The Bible says: "Ye, are the temple of the holy ghost". Meaning, my body is the temple where God resides. That to me makes a whole lotta sense---no Krishna, no Buddha, No Jesus Christ. "I", i am the temple where spirituality resides.
Amen!!!

I'm not the one claiming to be the most creative and the savior of all people from boredum. If you are complaining about a boring post, then you shouldnt contribute to it by yet adding another one to the archives. Just my expert opinion.

Seems like an interesting topic, so I'll contribute with a piece of my mind.
1. LOVE is strange.. u'll only know it when u feel it. It's a special kind of feeling not experienced every day of your life. It does not happen just once in ur life, as most people say, but countless times. When u lose it though, it hurts a lot. It makes u feel happy and hurt u at the same time. Strange, this LOVE is...
2. HAPPINESS is fun, laughter, joy etc. etc.. anything that makes u feel good inside at that very instant. What makes u happy may make another one unhappy. It has it's variation with different people. No one is obliged to be happy juz for the sake of another.
3. I believe there is GOD out there. U juz have to find Him/Her, be it a Hindu GOD, Muslim GOD, Christian GOD, etc... I'm still finding mine though. No one has the right to force someone to believe in their own GOD. It's all down to an individual's choice.

Very interesting EdHunter. I like your opinion. Here is what I think.
Love: Love is some kind of special feeling that comes from somewhere deep inside of you. Love makes you feel happy, makes you want to live longer, makes you work harder, and makes you do countless things that you wouldn't have done without it. In love, you don't expect to get anything back, you just give.
Happiness: Happiness is not having what you like, it's liking what you have. It makes you feel good and just like EdHunter says, what makes you happy, may make another one unhappy. We have to learn to happy with what we have (I am talking about personal goods and money too), but not with your education. As fas as I understand, one should never be happy with the level of education, he/she has.
God: Ah, now we are talking. I don't believe in God but I do believe that there is something or somebody that/who is watching us. It could be one or many person, or "something". The reason that I am saying this is because noone has ever seen God and I don't expect to see him so early either(When you meet God, that means you are dead).

Love: Love is physical attraction turned into a selfish desire to own the object of attraction.
Happiness: Happiness is when your mind is not thinking of anything negative.
God: God is a flexible entity. He is what you make her out to be.
