Recent archeological finds, including the earliest known Daguerrotype and Zoetrope (a prize won in a flagpole-sitting contest), have unearthed information unbeknownst earlier about former US President James A. Garfield. What did the diggers find? They found out that President Garfield was capable of writing Latin with one hand and Greek with the other, at the same time! Not only is this shocking news, but also pretty useless. You heard it here first folks, just another in the line of Pro's Mega Factoids.

The alleged ambidexterity of James Garfield, or "Garfi" as he was called by those closest to him, laid the groundwork and set the standard for presidents that inhabited the white house after his term....However, recent discoveries (Kaplan pg. 91, Garfi : Man behind the Mirror) by a team of researchers led by world famous archeologist Humprey Bofart suggests that Garfield was not only not ambidextrous, rather he possesd a prosthetic arm....Other experts contest this notion claiming that prosthetics are only recent inventions and that it is impossible that this 19th century president could possess a prosthetic arm....This brings up another point of speculation : Who was Garfield?...For all we know he could be a furry feline...However, I believe Garfield best summed up the mystery surrounding his life when, at the 1862 Dingleberry Debate, he said, " There have been many advances in this century...Butt I am distraught when thinking I did not live in this century....So my fellow Americans ask not what century you can live in, butt what century lives within your heart." Garfield became attune to the fact that he was a pioneer...I guess, you could say President Garfield set the " precedent.

Future president Chester Arthur was a close confidant and sexual interest of Garfield during his tenure in office....Arthur, who was perhaps best known for his elaborate works of art would sneak peeks inside the oval office drom the White House Lawn and create works depicting President Garfield in all his glory.....Arthur's crown jewel, a 10*12 ft portrait aptly named "Garfo in the Buff" sold for $313,000.82 in the 1976 White House Bicentennial auction....After many years of painting and peeping, Arthur finally degraded himself to the that point made him an ideal candidate for US president...Arthur died in September 11, 1903.....On his deathbed he demanded that be be allowed to peek under the skirts of the nurses that were attending to him....The nurses were unable to grant him this dying request, and Garfield soon became enraged and cursed this country for its unappreciativeness for all the years of dedicated voyeurism he gave to this America....His exact words were, "A hundred years from now....All Americans will all encounter a day of infamy that you will all be responsible for due to the fact that thou did noteth show thy those divine thighs"......However, Uncle Arty's words seem to have very little substance when considering nothing terrible happened in America as he had predicted.....I'd bet my money on Arty over Garfo in a fight anyday....No offense, Garfo
